Welcome to the Pelzel family farm (Stephen, Renee, Jada, Micah, Cohen, and Ethan), located in Paradise, Texas (one hour from Dallas). Our family began breeding registered Nigerian Dwarf goats in 2008, and they are still the heart of our farm!

In 2014, we signed up for the ADGA Standard 20 DHI milk testing program and haven't looked back. Since then, we expanded our participation in showing and the DHI. We also participate in ADGA DNA Typing, ADGA Linear Appraisal, AGS DHI testing, and AGS Classification.

Both Short On Heaven and Texas Marigolds manage closed herds. We test annually for CAE, intermittently for other diseases, and given the best of care. Entire herd tested CAE negative 10/05/2021.
